Abstract

This presentation shows a global overview occupational exposures trends in nuclear facilities based on UNSCEAR latest data. A focus is made on occupational exposures in nuclear power plants based on data from the International System on Occupational Exposure (ISOE). Reasons of exposure decrease in NPPs are synthetized, based on the implementation of ALARA, design improvements, use of feed-back experience and improvements of source term management. Perspectives and future challenges are finally discussed.
